Handicrafts in the T.R.N.C. carries different characteristics in different regions and appears in shapes reflecting people’s inner beautiesand Turkish designs. Handicrafts of the island attract the attention of especially the tourists.

Knitting

 In Cyprus, stick knitting or in other word plant knitting has been made with wheat, which is called pencil, barley rushes and rush. Knitting explains the hopes, dreams, dad nesses and happiness and personal ability of its maker.

Lace Work

  Lace work has been known many centuries, It is never lose its value. It can be made with every kind of string. Lace work  can be plaiteded   with crotched needle and spit.

   Ceramic Art

Manufacturing of carpets
